Blackview Zeta V16 Review

I will divide this review to sections,  each will review a different aspect of the phone

*Internals:

Mediatek processor with sufficient power for every day tasks and average gaming.

1 GB RAM was good for most of my usage but dont excpect top notch multitasking.

Dual sim came in handy when I needed to use a secondary prepaid line for a while, the main sim supports only 3G and the secong is 2G.

Internal memory is 8 GB with enough storage for my apps, the phone also supports Micro SD cards if you need to store some media.

5" IPS screen with 720P resoulution was really plesant and very bright, viewing angles were good too.

8 MP main camera is good in day light but horrible at night, same deal with the 5 MP front camera which had some focusing problems.

It has bluetooth and WiFi with adequate signal strenght, the 3G was also good with no dropped calls, GPS was slow somtimes.

*Design:

The Blackview Zeta V16 has a simple design, the body is metal and the back plate is hard plastic with glossy matte finish that attracts fingerprints, just dont eat fried chicken while using this phone :P my unit was the black variant.

I just wish they went with the new Android buttons instead of the old Menu-Home-Back buttons which dont light up which is only a problem when using the phone in the dark if you are not used to it.

*Software

The Phone runs on Android Kitkat 4.4 which is actually a good thing since there are many problems with Lollipop, I really prefer Kitkat in many ways esp. notifications.

The skin overlay is nice and colorful and thank god has an app drower, not like other Chinese skins. Google play was preinstalled and works.

*Conclusion

I really enjoyed using the Blackview Zeta V16, which I never though I would.

I recommend this phone for anyone that needs a good Android phone on a budget, because the phone is very cheap compared to the performance and build quality.

The phone is available for purchase for add little as $84.99 from Pandawill.com
Or use this direct link.

Thank you Pandawill and thank you BlackView
